DC servo motors
Commutator servo motors are permanent-magnet excited motors designed for long-term operation with rated torque, used primarily to drive the feeds of tool and numerical machine tools. These motors are equipped with a DC tachogenerator. The accessory is a DC electromagnetic brake mounted inside the motor housing.
